The #3SB Ascender is intended for flip lines and load hauling, where extra strength is required. Not for self belay by solo climbers.

Assembly: Remove lock nut and pull bolt out until cam swings free. Place ascender on rope and align holes in cam and shell. Re-thread nylok nut and tighten. Do not compress shell.

Convert to Free Running Mode: Remove the small screw in the spring cover. The spring will rotate freely.

Reconvert to Spring Loading: Hold cam down and re-insert screw in spring cover.
